He was predeceased by: his parents, Wong Pan Wing and Ho Ah Shau. He is survived by: his wife Sophia Lan Yin Wong of Honolulu; his son Jonathan Ning-Hoi Wong; his daughter-in-law Florence Pang of Dallas, TX; his siblings, Wai-Hong Wong of Hong Kong and Linda Wai-Kwan Yeung; his brother-in-law Stephen Yeung of Toronto, Canada.; his niece Karina Yeung; his nephew-in-law Kenny Cheng of Toronto, Canada.; his nephew Carson Yeung; his great-nephew Stefan Yeung of Toronto, Canada; his sister-in-law Rosa Lovett of Honolulu; his niece Jui; his nephew-in-law Joseph Tatekawa; and his great-niece Mazzy.
Thomas donated graduation t-shirts to numerous 5th grade classes at Ala Wai Elementary and donated 'Iolani fair coupons to those students.
