He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George McShane and Dorothy McShane; his wife Pamela; and his sons, Alfred "J. R." (Jayne-Mae), Alan (Kapua) and Alika (Pomai). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
