He is survived by : his wife Barbara of Honokaʻa; his sons, Kristian Tanoura (Jamie) of Kāneʻohe, daughter, January (Charles Comer, III) Tanoura of Waiʻanae, and Justin Berg (Tiffanie) of Brainerd, Minnesota; his siblings, May Inay, Albert Tanoura of Honolulu and Hawaiʻi; and his grandchildren, Hayley Moen, Kristina Anuhea Tanoura, Isaac Tanoura, Trevor Tanoura and Charlee Comer-Tanoura. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
