He is survived by: his wife Glenda Murakane of Honokaa; his children, James Weller Jr. (Heanu) of Hilo, Matthew Weller (Tootsie) of Waimea, Wesley Murakane (Traci) of Honokaa, Roslyn Murakane of Maui, Michelle Murakane and Melisa Murakane of Honokaa; and his siblings, Oran Murakane (Corliss) of Honokaa, Kumiko Nakashima, Amy Aoyagi, Corliss Hirae of Hilo and Karen Yamaoka of Honolulu. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
