He was predeceased by: his wife Vera L. Paiva; and his daughter Terry L. Paiva. He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Paiva-Rosborough (Robert) of Honokaa, Barton Paiva (Janice) of Hilo, Robin Paiva (Maria) of Honokaa and Brian Paiva (Richelle) of Honokaa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.
