He is survived by: his significant other Chantal Chung of Honaunau; his sons, George Abraham Place (Sandra), Kona Place (Melissa) of Arlington, WA., Nainoa Place of Kona and Lyons Place; and his siblings, Lindsey Place (Sue) of Kailua Kona, Wilma Place of Kealia, Maunahina Conradt (Rick) of Honaunau, Namahana Nozaki-Place of Kealakekua and Stephanie Place of Kailua Kona. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
