He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Perez-Zavala of Waikoloa; his children, Rafael Zamudio Perez (Josefina), Nicolas Zamudio Perez (Teresa), Jaime Zamudio Perez of Waikoloa, Maria Zamudio Perez (Jesus) and Rocio Zamudio Perez of Kailua-Kona; and his mother Maria Paniagua of Moroleon, Mexico. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
