He is survived by: his wife Caroline Arakaki of Hilo; his sons, Corey Arakaki of Hilo, Kurt Arakaki (Kristi) and Kent Arakaki (Rosa) of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, Elizabeth "Ellie" Arakaki and Jayson Arakaki; his siblings, Hiroshi Arakaki of Orange County, California and Amy Arakaki of Orange County, California; and his siblings-in-law, Kinuko Arakaki of Hakalau and Stanley Nakasone (Harriet) of Hilo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
