He is survived by: his sons, Darcy Hanato of Honalo, Kenneth Hanato of Honalo and Daniel Hanato of Kealakekua; and his brother Melvin Hanato (Jane) of Kailua-Kona. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
