She is survived by: her husband Valta Cook of Hilo; her sons, Valta Albert Cook, II (Nalani) of Honolulu and Vaughn Cook (Sylvi) of Hilo; and her siblings, Sharon Kuroda of Longview, Washington and Edmund Kuroda (Joan) of Keaau, Hawaii. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two aunts; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
