She is survived by: her children, Halley Ka'awa (Bryn), Nohea Ka'awa-Davis (Trice), Michael Ka'awa, Hi'ilani Lipe, Pohahawainani Lipe (Jada-Ann), Pohakea Lipe (Rachelle), Pomaikai Olson of Waiʻōhinu, Eric Ka'awa (Dionne), Kaila Ka'awa (Callen), Quincy Ka'awa of Waiʻōhinu and Hawaiʻi; her goddaughter Gwendolyn Udac-Serrao of Kamāʻoa; her siblings, Eric Kaawa (Kim) of Nāʻālehu, Sarah Lazar (Matt) of Honolulu, Doris Silva, Gail Ka'awa Olson of Hilo, Evon Kaawa of Naalehu, Stephanie Mento (Karl) of Kailua-Kona and Hawaiʻi; and her siblings-in-law, Madeline Kaawa of Naʻalehu, Irjina Kaawa of Ka Lae, Laura Kaawa of Waiʻōhinu, Tammy Kaawa of Kiolakaʻa and Bernie Lipe of Hawaii. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
