He is survived by: his wife Tishya Nakoa; his children, Thayne W. M. Nakoa, Jeremy Brown, Iesha Buyat (Jhordan) and Desire Lum (Bryson); his stepmother Brenda Kivalu; his mother-in-law Charleen Cadiente; his siblings, Jason Nakoa (Gem), James Nakoa Jr. (Tara), Pancho Cowell (Hitomi), Bill Kivalu (Diana), Brandon Witt, Doreen Brown (Richard), Desiree Nakoa, Darcy Kamaka and Napela Miyahira (Craig); and his grandchild Divine Lum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
