We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Thelma Young Omija in Hilo, Hawaii. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Omija (Kim) and Katie Hokama (Loyd) of Hilo; her daughter-in-law Luci Ann Omija of Kona; her daughter Jan Hashimoto of Hilo; her brothers, Nelson "Ba" Young and Wallace Young Sr. of Waiohinu; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Young of Hilo and Gilda Young of Kansas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and hanai grandchildren.
