He is survived by: his children, Sione Katoa (Karen) of Hilo, Salesi Katoa (Kolotita) of New Zealand, Unaloto Katoa (Janine) of New Zealand, Haileni Katoa (Kasanita) of Tonga, Uilanoma Tatu (Pulileka) of Tonga, Mele Tapa (Tapa) of Tonga and Losaline Taufa (Maka) of Tonga. He is also survived by 3 brothers; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
