He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Tanya" Paltin of Hilo; his children, Dr. Sharon, Calif, Debra Wolfe (Ron) of Scotland, Dr. Judith Paltin of Vancouver, B. C., Dr. David Paltin (Caroline) of Orange County and Tamara Paltin (George Vierra) of Lahaina, Maui; and his siblings-in-law, Hal Mouallem of New York and Jane Horike of Hilo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
