He is survived by: his children, Laraine Heirakuji of Hilo, Calvin Fukushima (Susan Nawatani) of Kaneohe and Harvey Fukushima (Tracey) of Hilo; his sisters, Chiyoko Sato of Hilo and Michie Ikeda (Hisashi) of Honolulu; and his sister-in-law Tsuruyo Fukushima of Hilo. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nephews and nieces.
