He is survived by: his wife Sue Okunami of Hilo; his children, Scott Okunami (Kathy) of Irvine, Peter Okunami (Rae Ann) of Mililani and Roanne Hinahara (Clint) of Aiea; his brother Gary Okunami (Mitsuko) of Sacramento, California; and his brother-in-law William Honzaki of Kaneohe. He is also survived by five grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
