He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Kiyota of Hilo; his daughters, Janna Yamashita (Connie Watanabe) of Kapolei, Debra Funai (Troy) of Hilo and Tianne Yamashita of Hilo; and his siblings, Kenneth Yamashita (Maureen) of Kailua, Lynne Mayeda of Kaneohe and Cherrie Amasaki (Arthur) of Torrance, California. He is also survived by five grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
