It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Masaji Daikawa of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mildred Daikawa of Hilo; his children, Neal Daikawa (Jean Marie) of Philadelphia, Royden (Laura Esbensen) of Virginia Beach and Christine Daikawa (Catherine Perry) of Cedarburg, Wisconsin; and his siblings, Sadako Suzuki (Henry) of Hilo, Paul Daikawa (Jane) of Hilo, Stanley Daikawa (Janice) of Apple Valley and Carole Watanabe (Harry) of Los Alamos. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
