He is survived by: his wife Etsuko Kurokawa of Hilo; his children, Kory Kurokawa (Sheri Yamasaki) of Mililani and Kris Cabreira of Hilo; and his sister Elsie Asakura (Richard) of Kailua-Kona. He is also survived by three grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
