With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Wetmore Northrop (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Northrop and Dorothy Northrop; his daughters, Shannon Matson (John) of Mountain View and Anna Schamber (Dean) of Kailua-Kona; and his brothers, Gary Northrop (Cindy) of Connecticut and Frank Northrop (Mary) of Connecticut. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
