He is survived by: his children, Mikala DeMotta of Hilo and Robi DeMotta of Hilo; his siblings, Jonathan DeMotta of Honolulu and Roberta "Cookie" Cuban (John) of Mountain View; his granddaughter Grace DeMotta-Kuamo'o of Hilo; and his close friend Michael Laimana (Connie) of Hilo, Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
