He is survived by: his wife Thelma Omija; his children, Michael Omija (Kim Akamu) and Katie Hokama (Loyd); his daughter-in-law Luci-Ann Omija; his daughter Jan Hashimoto; and his sister Lurline Ayame Phelps (Howard). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
