He is survived by: his mother Violet Ketchum of Kurtistown; his children, Troy Mattos (Jae) of Wailuku, Maui, Joseph Mattos of Hilo, Carla Mattos of Hilo, Harmony Williamson (Jacob) of Nashville and Chandler Mattos of Florida; and his siblings, Dennis Vierra (Leilani) of Hilo, Dale Mattos of Hilo, Darrell Mattos (Rene) of Keaau, Pearl Gomez (Bobby) of Bellflower, Linda Souza (Victor) of Kurtistown, Annette O'Brien of Hilo and Antoinette Toni Castillo (Rodney) of Keaau. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
