Ralph Albarado Obituary
Ralph Albarado Sr. passed away on September 29, 2018 at Hilo Medical Center at the age of 79. He was born on July 31, 1939 and raised in Waimea, Kauai. He served in the military, U.S. Army Branch for 6 1/2 years, later moved to Honolulu where he worked at City Transfer as a truck driver for many years, an official basketball referee in his spare time, was a member of the Teamsters Union, and chauffeured actors and actresses filming movies on Oahu. After retirement, he relocated to Hilo where he then worked for a local cleaning and maintenance company, became a park caretaker, and was the resident manager of the home he resided in for years.
