He is survived by: his children, Aldenn Iga (Rachael) of Honolulu and Alison Iga of Keaau; his siblings, Richard Iga (Reiko) of California, Harrison Iga (Rose) of Honolulu and Doreen Okuda of Hilo; and his grandchildren, Sierra Iga and Levi Iga. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family of the late Nelson Shunichi Iga has canceled a public visitation and private service previously scheduled and announced for Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
