Mitsuko was loved and cherished by many people including: husband Taichi Isono of Hilo; children, Lynn Kelemen (Stefan) of Claremont, Myrna Mizer of Yorba Linda, Cindy Sakoda (Clyde) of Hilo and Randall Isono (Jackie) of San Diego, California; siblings, Takio Shitabata of Honolulu, Albert Itsuo Shitabata (Aileen) of Hilo, Earl Shitabata (Marian) of Kailua, Oahu, Mildred Eiko Endo (Fred) of Gardena and June Shitabata of Honolulu; and siblings-in-law, Hayako Shitabata of Honolulu, Asako Shitabata of Laupahoehoe, Annie Isono of Honolulu and Katsuichi Isono (Miyuki) of Kaneohe, Oahu. Mitsuko was also cherished by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
