He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hing Lum and Harriett Maina'aupō; his children, Bran Furman (Kathie), Dina Hinkle (Shannon) and Scott Furman; his grandchildren, Nicholas Furman (Stephanie), Vincent Furman (Michelle), Kris Patel (Rachel) and Jennifer Patel Sobus (Phil); and his great grandchild Marleigh Rose Furman.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 on Thursday, October 7, 2021, with burial to follow.
