He is survived by: his wife Madeline Aguinaldo Cabalar of Hilo; his children, Marlon Cabalar (Lori) of Hilo, Mark Cabalar (Marilou) of Hilo and Marline Cabalarof Washington (John Kuroda); his siblings, Terry Cabalar (Keri) of Hilo, Samuel Cabalar (Lani) of Hilo, Estrella Acasio (Elmer) of Hilo and Trina Lucas (Patrick) of Hilo; his brothers-in-law, Jaime Aguinaldo (Adele) of Hilo and Levi Aguinaldo (Pam) of Maui; and his grandchildren, Loralyn Reyes of Washington State, Hoʻokele Reyes of Washington State, Noah Cabalar of Hilo and Addisyn Cabalar of Hilo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
