We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Louis Hideyo Matsukado of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Kurtistown, Hawaii. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Louis Hideyo may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Louis Hideyo touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Matsukado of Hilo; his children, Leslie Matsukado (Tracie) of Honolulu, Allan Matsukado (Ann) of Honolulu and Shari Fujiwara of Hilo; his stepdaughters, Robin Valencia (Sean) of Hilo and Anne Matsunaga of Hilo; his sisters, Irene Kanno (Michael) of Fairfield and Florence Matsumura (Calvin) of Honolulu; and his brother-in-law Thomas Sugita of Honolulu. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
