He is survived by: his wife Lisbeth Taniguchi of Hilo; his sons, Derek Taniguchi (Amy) of Hilo and Jeffrey Taniguchi of Hilo; his sister Maryan Ahn-Taniguchi (Stanley) of Hilo; and his sister-in-law Sandra Taniguchi of Hilo. He is also survived by two aunts; nephews, nieces and numerous cousins.
