She is survived by: her husband Yorio Onishi of Hilo; her children, Richard Onishi (Joni) of Hilo, Winfred Onishi (Eileen) of Hilo, Allan Onishi of Hilo, Dennis "Fresh" Onishi (Sunny Ware) of Hilo and Lucilla Higa (Wendell) of Hilo; her brother Tomoharu Nakamura (Sue) of Hilo; and her sisters-in-law, Yayoi Nakamura of Hilo, Sueko Yorita of Hilo and Doris Onishi of Hilo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
