It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Charles Brandt (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Brandt; his children, Steven Brandt (Chris) and Debora Brandt (Leif); and his stepchildren, Corrinne Mayer, Kurt Mayer, Lisa Mayer and Elonwy Childress. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; numerous hanai children.
