He is survived by: his wife Porona K. K. Gomes; his children, Antonette "Tita" Charles, Shayli K. Charles, Cheyenne Charles and Anthony Charles; his siblings, Edward Gomes III (Donna Haunani Ermitano), Donald Gomes (Jennifer), Vernon Gomes, Lewellyn Gomes, Kathleen Gomes, Darlene Villanueva (Emilio), Monica and Gouveia; and his grandchildren, Aunts and Uncles. He is also survived by Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
