He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Kubo of Hilo; his children, Violet Miyaji (Mark) of San Francisco, Garret Kubo (Debra) of Arlington, Randal Ishii (Dayle) and Peter Kubo of Hilo; his brother Kiyoshi Kubo (Barbara) of Hakalau; and his brother-in-law Robert Nakamoto (Yonsuk) of Honolulu. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
