He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Iopa of Hilo; his children, Robert Iopa (Rachelle) of Honolulu and Kimberly Angay (Kalei) of Hilo; his sister Maile Zarko of Honolulu; his sister-in-law Mabel Iopa of Hilo; and his grandchildren, Ian Iopa, Eli Iopa, Kaiao Angay, Kamaluhia Angay and Iliana Iopa. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
