He is survived by: his daughter Alana Foster (Mark) of Hilo; his daughter-in-law Elena Apaka of Hilo; his sisters-in-law, Kimie "Clara" Apaka of Lihue, Kauai, Kuulei Pa'e of Kaneohe, Oahu and Patricia Kamau of Hilo; and his grandchildren, Lon "Kaleo" Apaka (Mandi), Mark "Kamuela" Foster (Tori), Qiana Foster, Kensy Apaka (Jaime), Kimo Apaka, Tyler Foster (Jacie Rosario) and Tianti Foster. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
