It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kazuo Yanagihara (Hilo, Hawaii), who passed away on May 26, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Kinuko "Kay" Yanagihara of Hilo; his son Casey Yanagihara (Jodie) of Hilo; his siblings, Myron Yanagihara of Honolulu, Noboru Yanagihara of Hilo and Dora Akina of Honolulu; and his sister-in-law Sachiko Yanagihara of Hilo. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
