She is survived by: her children, Alan Okamoto (Charlene) of Hilo and Gail Ito (Calvin) of West Hills, California; and her sister-in-law Chizuko Tarutani of Honolulu. She is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
