It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Shigeko Uekawa (Hilo, Hawaii), who passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Ellen Tamura (David) of Hilo, HI and Lloyd Uekawa of Kaneohe, HI; and her sister Jane Nagata (Roy) of Hilo, HI. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; numerous nieces & nephews.

No flowers or koden (monetary donations).
