He is survived by: his children, Ronald "Ron" Gapol of California, Melvin Gapol (Theresa), Stanley Gapol of Keaau, Rachel Yamashita (Herbert), Darolyn Tanigawa (Les Sato) of Keaau and Nancy Batangan (Max) of Chula Vista, California; his brothers, Max Calica (Carol) of Honolulu, Onorato Calica (Vickie) of Hilo, Dalmacio Calica (Merce) of Texas, Francisco Calica (Norma) of Paauilo, Jostatino Calica (Terry) of Washington State, Marsilino Calica (Susanna) of Colorado and Juan Calica (Emelia) of Keaau; his stepbrother Gene Maluyo (Barbara) of Kona, Hawaii; his sisters, Christine Souza (Rodney) of Honolulu, Sofie Lopez (Roy), Vanessa Calica of Colorado, Millie Calica McCormmick (Larry) of Keaau and Roberta Sonoda (Kent) of Hilo; his stepsisters, Maggie Garbacz (Dave) of Waiohinu and Arsenia Jacobo of Alaska; and his siblings-in-law, Elisabeth Haspe of Paradise Park, Ramona Lorenz of Mt. View, Pablo Bibilone of Mt. View, Pedro Haspe (Lottie) of Hilo and Hilario Ramiscal (Allan Keto). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
