He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Leonard Honl and Gladys Honl (Killsworth); and his sister Patricia Crawford. He is survived by: his son Rex John Honl (LoriAnn); his grandchildren, Alisha DeGuair (Jacob) and Keoni Paoa (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Jake Honl-DeGuair, Duke, Lilia DeGuair, Kaylee and Jax Paoa; his brother Tioni Judd (Gail) of Kamuela, Hawaii; his niece Laurie Crawford of Germany; and his stepchildren, Graham "Sandy" Salisbury of Oregon, Anne Thomas of San Francisco, Patricia Godfrey of Hawaii and Carol Salisbury of Washington.
