Jean Matsue Hatada Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Matsue Hatada of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Honokaa, Hawaii, who passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Hatada (Birong Zhang) of Hilo, Brian Hatada (Lynn) of Hilo and Cheryl Mae Ferreira (David) of Hilo; and her siblings-in-law, Kengo Hatada of Hilo, George Hatada (Lorraine) of California and Tokiko Hatada of Hilo. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
