Janice Marie Mahuna Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Marie Mahuna of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on February 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her close friend Clyde Matsunaga; her children, Van Mahuna Jr. of Kamuela and Shellbi Mahuna of Hilo; her brothers, Wayne Subica (Evangeline) of Hilo and Dennis "Denny" Subica of California; and her grandchildren, Shawno Auwae of California, Iliana Nakamoto (Tyler Stover) of Arizona, Auli'i Mahuna of Kamuela and Makana Mahuna of Kamuela. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
