He is survived by: his wife Catherine Palama of Hilo; his daughters, Norine Wong (Frederick) of Waimanalo, Memory Neves (Nathan), Jamie Spencer (Carter), Monica Palama of Hilo, Ramona Crawford (George) of Nanakuli, Oahu, Jaysha Gardner, Jasmine Gardner and Tasha-Ann Gardner of Hilo; his stepdaughters, Shervelle Gardner of Kalihi and Desiree Lee (Jay) of Waipahu, Oahu; and his sons, James Otis Palama, Jr. (Rosemarie), Raymond Palama of Waimanalo, William Palama (Darnyl) of Hilo, Jonathan Gardner, Joseph Gardner and Terrance Gardner of Hilo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
His Life and Scattering his ashes will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Kaiona Beach Park in Waimanalo, Oahu from 12 p. m. to 4 p. m. Face Masks and Social Distancing Required.
