It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. McCarroll (Hilo, Hawaii), who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Orion Stevens (Nicole) of Kohala, Kawika Steven of Kohala, Dallas McCarroll, Jacob Dalh-McCarroll and Jade Stevens (Aaron) of Kohala; his mother Gwendolyn Akau of Illinois; his siblings, John McCarroll (Kanoe) of Kamuela and Eliza Pua (Kalani) of Kailua-Kona; and his grandchildren, Kinsey, Aubree, Cooper, Haydn, Ho'ala and Hiilawe. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
