It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Koji Takashiba (Hilo, Hawaii), born in Eleele, Hawaii, who passed away on July 10, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Norman Takashiba of Kauai. He is survived by: his wife Tania Takashiba of Hilo; his children, Brody Koichi Takashiba of Hilo and Mia Eiko Takashiba of Hilo; his parent Alberta Takashiba of Kauai; his sisters, Jill Ueda (Craig) of Japan and Emi Okamura (Jason) of Honolulu; his parents-in-law, Randy Ishimaru of Hilo and Coreen Ishimaru of Hilo; and his sister-in-law Kara Iopa (Ivan) of Hilo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
