She is survived by: her spouse Noboru Shigematsu; her sons, Wade Shigematsu of Honoka'a and Craig Shigematsu; her siblings, Eiji Sato (Sadame) of California, Fujie Chikuami of Hilo and Eiko Hokama of Hilo; her grandchildren, Melissa, Syreeta, Erica and Shane; and her great grandchildren, Donovan and Ethan.
