We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 101, Hanako H. Kuwaye of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Papaaloa, Hawaii passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Kuwaye (Carol) of Hilo and Frances Chow of Hilo; and her sisters, Yoshiko Kishinami of Honolulu, Yuriko Yahiro of Hilo and Yaeko Kunishige of Hilo. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and grand dogs.
