Hamako is survived by: daughters, Arlene Terry (Ron), Lori Taketa (Dennis), Cori Lee Rapoza (Duane) of Hilo and JoAnn Schneider (Daniel) of Waikoloa; son-in-law Barry Hanagami of Hilo; brother Matao Matsumoto of Honolulu; and sisters-in-law, Carol Matsumoto, Peggy Hamano of Honolulu and Betty Sanehira of Hilo. Hamako is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
